    Nike+ Connect displays Code 68 when there is a problem installing a firmware update on your Nike+ device.

    The Code 68 message through Nike+ Connect occurs when Nike experiences a problem installing a firmware update on your Nike+ device.

    You can still use your device even when Code 68 occurs. However, you will not be able to install the latest firmware updates.

    Because firmware updates often contain new features, bug fixes, and other important improvements to your Nike+ experience, it’s important to resolve the problem. Try the troubleshooting steps below.

    1. Unplug your device from your computer’s USB port.
    2. Plug your device back in to your computer’s USB port.
    3. Nike+ Connect should prompt you to install the firmware update that’s available. Please click “Update” to start the installation process.
    4. If the problem continues when you retry, wait several hours and try again. It’s possible that the source of the problem is an issue with the Nike+ website rather than your device. In this situation, the root cause is generally resolved within a few hours.
