    How do I pair my heart rate monitor with my Nike+ device or app?

    Many Nike+ devices and experiences offer heart rate monitor integration.

    Select your device below for instructions.

    Nike+ Run Club for iOS (Mobile)

    To link your Bluetooth 4.0 Smart heart rate transmitter to the Nike+ Run Club app, please follow these steps:

    1. Put on your Bluetooth Smart heart rate transmitter as per the manufacturer's instructions.
    2. Make sure you are not in proximity to any other heart rate transmitters.
    3. On your iOS device, navigate to Settings → Bluetooth.
    4. Look for your heart rate transmitter under "Other Devices" and tap it.
    5. Wait for it to appear under "My Devices" with a "Connected" status beside it.
    6. Return to your iOS device's home screen and tap the "Health" icon.
    7. Tap "Sources."
    8. Tap "Nike+ Run Club"
    9. Toggle "Heart Rate" (under "Allow Nike+ Run Club to read data") to the on position.

    The Nike+ Run Club app will now capture heart rate data (BPM) along with your other workout data.

    Nike+ Run Club for Android (Mobile)

    To link your Bluetooth 4.0 Smart heart rate transmitter to the Nike+ Run Club app, please follow these steps:

    1. Put on your Bluetooth Smart heart rate transmitter as per the manufacturer's instructions.
    2. Make sure you are not in proximity to any other heart rate transmitters.
    3. In the Nike+ Run Club app for Android, tap the menu icon in the left-hand corner of the app.
    4. Tap Settings.
    5. Tap Run Settings
    6. Toggle heart rate to on. If it isn't already, you will be prompted to toggle it on to create the connection.
    Nike+ Run Club for Apple Watch

    The Nike+ Run Club app is optimized for Apple Watch OS2 and will read and save your heart rate in real time during your run. Check out your Activity to see your historical heart rate data.

    Nike+ SportWatch GPS

    To link your Polar WearLink+ (works with Nike+) heart rate transmitter to your SportWatch GPS, please follow these steps:

    1. Snap the plastic transmitter to the chest strap.
    2. Moisten the electrodes on the chest strap and fasten it securely around your chest, with the electrodes directly against your skin and the transmitter centered on your chest.
    3. Make sure you are not in proximity to any other heart rate transmitters.
    4. On your SportWatch GPS, press the center button to access the main menu.
    5. Navigate to Run → Options → New Sensor.
    6. Wait for the "Sensor Found" notification to appear, along with a heart icon on your screen.

    Your SportWatch GPS will now capture heart rate data (BPM) along with your other workout data.

    iPod nano (7th generation)

    To link your Polar WearLink+ (works with Nike+) heart rate transmitter to your iPod nano (7th generation), please follow these steps:

    1. Snap the plastic transmitter to the chest strap.
    2. Moisten the electrodes on the chest strap and fasten it securely around your chest, with the electrodes directly against your skin and the transmitter centered on your chest.
    3. Make sure you are not in proximity to any other heart rate transmitters.
    4. On your iPod nano's home screen, tap the Fitness icon.
    5. Tap the "i" icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
    6. Tap "Nike + iPod Sport Kit → Heart Rate Monitor → Link.
    7. Wait for the message "iPod has found your new heart rate monitor" to appear on the screen.

    Your iPod nano will now capture heart rate data (BPM) along with your other workout data.

    iPod nano (6th generation)

    To link your Polar WearLink+ (works with Nike+) heart rate transmitter to your iPod nano (6th generation), please follow these steps:

    1. Snap the plastic transmitter to the chest strap.
    2. Moisten the electrodes on the chest strap and fasten it securely around your chest, with the electrodes directly against your skin and the transmitter centered on your chest.
    3. Make sure you are not in proximity to any other heart rate transmitters.
    4. Insert the Nike+ receiver (from the Nike + iPod Sport Kit) in your iPod nano's port.
    5. Navigate from your iPod nano's home screen to Settings → Fitness → Nike + iPod Sport Kit → Heart Rate Monitor → Link.
    6. Wait for the message "iPod has found the new Heart Rate Monitor" to appear on your screen.

    Your iPod nano will now capture heart rate data (BPM) along with your other workout data.

    iPod nano (5th generation)

    To link your Polar WearLink+ (works with Nike+) heart rate transmitter to your iPod nano (5th generation), please follow these steps:

    1. Snap the plastic transmitter to the chest strap.
    2. Moisten the electrodes on the chest strap and fasten it securely around your chest, with the electrodes directly against your skin and the transmitter centered on your chest.
    3. Make sure you are not in proximity to any other heart rate transmitters.
    4. Insert the Nike+ receiver (from the Nike + iPod Sport Kit) in your iPod nano's port.
    5. Navigate from your iPod nano's home screen to Nike + iPod → Settings → Heart Rate Monitor → Link.
    6. Wait for the message "iPod has found the new Heart Rate Monitor" to appear on your screen.

    Your iPod nano will now capture heart rate data (BPM) along with your other workout data.

    Nike+ SportBand

    To link your Polar WearLink+ (works with Nike+) heart rate transmitter to your SportBand, please follow these steps:

    1. Snap the plastic transmitter to the chest strap.
    2. Moisten the electrodes on the chest strap and fasten it securely around your chest, with the electrodes directly against your skin and the transmitter centered on your chest.
    3. Make sure you are not in proximity to any other heart rate transmitters or sensors, including your Nike+ shoe sensor.
    4. Press and hold your SportBand's toggle button until the word "LINK" appears on your screen.
    5. Release the toggle button and wait for the word "OK" to appear on your screen. You'll also see a heart icon in the upper center of the screen.

    Your SportBand will now capture heart rate data (BPM) along with your other workout data.
